Ginger Blomberg is a 20 year veteran in the local real estate market. Her experience includes 10 years of ownership and management of several RE/MAX offices in Trumbull, Shelton and Bridgeport. In February of 2006, Ginger made the move to Keller Williams Realty, the 4th largest and most innovative real estate company in the nation. Keller Williams International promotes a philosophy of business that coincides with Ginger's, one that insists on integrity, teamwork, and a win-win situation for everyone involved.During her 20+ year career, Ginger has continued her education by obtaining many "designations" unique to the real estate industry. Among them is the GRI designation (Graduate, Realtor Institute), a 90 hour course designed to further educate the average Realtor on all aspects of the business including financial analyses, negotiating techniques, effects of various contaminants, etc. Ginger also erned the coveted CRP designation (Certified Relocation Professional), a designation very difficult to obtain which is designed to educate the licensee on all aspects of the relocation process including dealing with relocation companies, the various types of relocation packages, the issues that families face with international relocations, etc. Her final designation earned is the SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist). The purpose of this course is to teach the agent about those isssues which are unique to the senior population, such as financial issues, options for senior housing, personal attachment to the homestead, etc.
Another large part of Ginger's career has been that of educator. Having graduated from college with a bachelor of science degree in education, Ginger has put that knowledge to use in her teaching at the Greater Bridgeort Board of Realtors and several community colleges throughout the area. She currently teaches several real estate licensing courses to those interested in becoming real estate agents, as well as teaching continuing education courses to seasoned agents.
